We want to recognize and thank you for the gracious gifts you have given to us, and through us, in 2015 –with your partnership and participation in sharing the good news of Jesus Christ through veterinary medicine. Every prayer you have offered up, every dollar you have given, every mile you have journeyed has resulted in countless lives and communities transformed across the US and around the world through Short-Term Missions. In 2015, CVM sent out 526 participants on 125 short-term trips to 25 different countries. And that is something to truly celebrate!Read More
The bus was packed with passengers as it returned from the eastern providence of Sukhbaatar, Mongolia. There were around forty-five people on board, swaying and rocking with the gentle rhythm of the road on the way back to the capital city. Many were sleeping in the darkened seats, and the muffled roar of the motor was like hypnotic music harmonizing with the hum of the giant tires.
In a matter of seconds the peaceful trip erupted into unspeakable horror. Swerving between the roadside ditches the driver completely lost control. The giant metal box rolled and tumbled and slid to an abrupt stop leaving a wreckage of twisted steel and broken glass. Moaning survivors were left struggling to grasp reality away from this devastation.Read More
“May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope.” -Romans 15:13
With Christmas just a day away, we are taking time this week to reflect on the birth of our Savior. We are grateful for the gift of grace He has given each of us and the blessings that He has bestowed on CVM. This joyous season is a time for each of us to consider how we can draw near to the throne of grace and live in such a way that honors Him.
We are grateful for the support of the CVM family who make it possible for us to be Christ’s hands and feet as we serve through veterinary medicine.
We pray that your time with family and friends this Christmas season will be a special blessing. On behalf of everyone here at Christian Veterinary Mission, we wish you all a merry Christmas and a happy New Year!
Thank you for your partnership in ministry,
-The Team at Christian Veterinary MissionRead More

“If indeed you have heard of the stewardship of God’s grace which was given to me for you.” -Ephesians 3:2
Have you considered the stewardship of God’s grace that has been given to you for those in your life? I have always appreciated how this verse reflects Paul’s heart for those whom God had given him responsibility for in the churches. God’s kingdom work requires that His children steward His grace to those with whom their lives intersect.Read More

A few weeks ago Richard and I sat around many of our Mongolian team members as they reflected back to the time they received a Bible. Of course, this time of reflection also led to stories of when they first heard about Jesus Christ. Mongolia was closed to the Gospel of Jesus Christ until the early 1990’s. But when communism fell, the door opened wide to Christianity. One of our V.E.T. Net teachers was 16 years old in 1992 when she received her first Bible from someone who came to her town in the countryside. Today she just completed her 17th summer traveling to the countryside with V.E.T. Net, sharing the Gospel, leading all ages of Mongolians to the Lord. Glory to God!Read More
