Missions Apprenticeship Program

CVM’s Mission Apprenticeship Program (formerly known as the Preceptorship Program) is a unique opportunity available to mission-minded veterinary students in their 2nd, 3rd or 4th year of veterinary school. The focus of this program is to provide students with one-on-one mentoring and hands-on training with CVM fieldworkers as they seek to pursue God’s calling to serve long-term through veterinary missions.

PLEASE NOTE: CVM’s Apprenticeship program is for those students who are exploring long-term missions as a possible step for their future. It is NOT an externship program, a program for school credit, or a means by which to gain clinical experience. It is for those students who are sensing God’s call on their lives to long-term mission service as a way to further explore what that call would look like for them.
