"Going and Growing"
Who We Are
In November 2016, Christian Veterinary Mission sent Michael and Hillary Mincher to serve at the V.E.T. Net headquarters in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. Before following God’s calling to Mongolia, Hillary, a graduate of the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine, practiced rural mixed animal medicine for six years. Michael completed his degree in Psychology and has continued his studies to earn a Masters in Divinity in Biblical Counseling.
Over the past three years, Michael has served as the counselor for the V.E.T. Net Staff, the Evangelical & Discipleship Trainer for indigenous church plants, and has been teaching English to the students and team. Hillary has served as the equine veterinary advisor for V.E.T. Net, assisting in trainings for the continuing education program for Mongolian veterinarians and veterinary students. Hillary has also facilitated the internship program. The Minchers also serve in the veterinary student ministry through English classes, veterinary clubs, and small groups at their home.
Through their work, the Minchers hope to continue building lasting relationships, share the Good News to those who have never heard, disciple believers, and encourage disciple-making throughout the nation of Mongolia.
CVM is partnered with V.E.T. Net – Mongolia, a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) that focuses on sharing Christ with all of Mongolia through veterinary medicine and education. V.E.T. Net has diligently chosen to work through the entire nation county by county to reach the Mongolian people for Christ. Together, the Mincher’s will work alongside other CVM veterinarian missionaries: the Mitchums, the Ballengers, and the Woolseys.
