CVM partners with a cheese factory in the Himalayas that is working to improve the health of cattle and water buffalo that provide their milk. CVM sends veterinarians to treat animals and provide training. This outreach focuses on building relationships with Gujjar farmers, an unreached people group. While many Gujjars are nomadic, this community is established. Many farmers live on the edge of poverty, but they can be quite hospitable.
